The Three Sons of the Ruler and Politics in Turkiye
As in the fairy tale, who is telling the truth? In a country inhabited by those who do not know when what they say is true and when it is a lie, how can we trust whom and how can we entrust our future?
Once upon a time, once upon a time, when camels were playing ball, in the old bathhouse, when the roosters were the tellers, when the fleas were the porters, when I was rocking my mother's cradle, once upon a time, once upon a time...
In a small country in a distant land, there was a ruler who was quite old.
This ruler had three mischievous sons.
Now that the ruler was old, he could not decide which of his sons should inherit the throne.
One of his sons was always lying, another one was a truthful David, and the third one never knew when he was telling the truth and when he was lying.
He could not decide on his own which one of them would be a better ruler for the beautiful country he ruled after him.
***
In the end, he thought and thought, and in order to decide which of his sons would be better able to rule his country after him, he gave a task to his chief vizier to think of a solution.
He did not forget to tell the vizier to find the remedy quickly, or I will take your head, so that the vizier would take the matter seriously.
***
The Grand Vizier was in a hurry.
He realised that he could not cope with this task on his own, so he decided to consult the oldest wise man in the country.
The wise man first sat down, listened carefully to the vizier, and then began to think.
He thought for a day, he thought for two days, he thought for a week, but he could not find a solution to the problem the vizier mentioned.
*
The vizier realised that it was not going to be possible, of course there was a head on the line, so he left the wise man to ponder and decided to consult the most well-read man in the country.
He went and told his problem to the most widely read person in the country.
He said, "Let me take a look at the most read books.
He read for a day, read for two days, read for a week, but he could not find a cure for the vizier's problem. There was no remedy for this problem in any book.
*
The Vizier decided that it was not going to be possible, his head was in danger, he left the well-read people alone with their books, and decided to consult the most travelled person in the country.
When he told his problem to the most travelled one, the most travelled one said, "Let me take a trip".
He travelled for a day, travelled for two days, travelled for a week, but he could not find a cure either. He said, "I have not found a cure for this problem anywhere.
*
The vizier realised that it was not going to be possible, so he decided to ask the madman of the country.
And the madman of the country went round and round for a day, and round and round for two days, and round and round for two days, and round and round for a week.
Just as the vizier was about to say that he could not find a solution, the madman suddenly turned to the vizier and said, "Ask a question!" He said, "Ask the princes such a question so that they can tell themselves who is the real owner of the throne."
When the vizier asked what to ask, he said, "I'm crazy, will I tell everything?" "You find out what to ask!" he said, and he started to wander from side to side again.
*
The vizier realised that this was not going to happen, his head was in danger, but he did not know who else to consult, so he decided to ask a question to the sons of the ruler, as the madman said.
According to the answers given by the princes to the question he was going to ask, it seemed logical to him to decide which would be the best for the country according to their answers.
But he did not know which of the princes was a liar, which one was truthful, which one was unpredictable when he was telling the truth and when he was lying.
He did not dare to ask such a question to the ruler.
He did not know what kind of question to ask and how to understand who would be a good ruler.
He started to think about what to ask, what to ask.
He thought for a day, he thought for two days, he thought for a week, but he could not find that magic question.
Because after a while he realised that no matter what question he asked, he would not know whether the answer was right or wrong.
In such an unknown environment, he realised that it was best not to ask any questions.
What should he do now? Should he accept his fate?
If he cannot find a solution!
***
Who is telling the truth?
Who is a liar?
Or what kind of question would you ask in a country where those who do not know when what they say is true and when it is a lie live?
Would you dare to ask a question?
If the country is out of control, is there any point in asking questions anymore?
As the saying goes, horse tracks are mixed with dog tracks, isn't that the state of the country?
***
What did Mr Kılıçdaroğlu mean when he said that even I cannot save this country anymore?
Or did he not say such a thing?
Believe me, I don't understand!
But I also don't understand who is telling the truth and who is lying.

For example, I never understood why so many people attended the funeral of a sheikh with such intensity. It turns out that the sheikh of the sect had so many lovers.
Or is it not about love for the sheikh?
But I also don't understand that the sins forgiven by the sheikh will remain as sins again, that is, the sins forgiven by the sheikh will be cancelled.
What are you saying? There is no confession in Islam! Those cancelled are repentances given in front of the old sheikh. People repented for something in front of the sheikh, not on their own.
The old repentance has been cancelled so that those who repent now can repent once more in front of the new sheikh (sheikhs?!).
Isn't that good? This is not forgiving our sins with the help of someone, this is repenting under the witness of someone!
I have never understood that sect centre, which has already become a state within the state.
It turns out that no one can enter that centre (it is said that there is another one!)!

And some people don't want their daughters to go to school in this age. I do not understand this at all.
I have never understood the logic of our respected elders who find the solution by opening special schools only for girls and boys instead of co-educational schools.
They explain it so well, don't they?
I don't understand why our honourable minister, who says that my priority is the education of girls, can't explain why there are those who don't want to educate their daughters in this age. With good intentions, they will open schools for girls and boys.
Don't we already have special schools only for girls and only for boys?
***
I have never understood why there is so much hatred for the republic in this country.
The more I hear about such issues, the more I lose my mind.
Maybe my capacity to understand is limited.
***
In short, what more can be done for this tiny country in our fairy tale to reach the level of modern civilisation, believe me, I could not find the solution either.
I also did not know who would be better for this country to be in charge after His Excellency.
Moreover, I did not understand who would be in charge of the sect that has become a state within the state.
I think it would be useful to find a method to resolve these issues now.
Could democracy be the solution?
But no, democracy means people's vote, what's the point?
Well, that doesn't work, this doesn't work. If you know the answers to these questions, then tell me!
***
I think we've come to the end of our tale.
Let's end our fairy tale like the classic fairy tale endings.

She's got a pleated skirt, she's got curly hair, we've done our job, we're going bye-bye.
Is the one with the pile pile skirt the smartest?
Anyway, we said the story was over.
May three apples fall from the sky, one on the heads of those who mismanage the country, one on the heads of those who have lost their minds, and one on the heads of whoever will be the heir to the throne.
Love and greetings to everyone from Moscow
