Does the Struggle in Life End Before You Say It's Over?

If we take a look at the most common words spoken on a daily basis, after the words describing basic needs, the most used words are "struggle" and sometimes "war", which are used in the same sense.

There is no living creature that is not in motion, in action! Plants, animals and humans are always on the move. These living organisms are somehow programmed to evolve to the next stage and progress towards self-realization.

The phenomenon we call growth, change and development is motion itself and is a common characteristic of living things. Except for human beings, other living beings do what is necessary automatically, instinctively, without thinking. They reveal what is in their nature and act according to their nature. No animal feels the need to consult another living being to find food or to reproduce. It does not ask permission or question whether it is making the right or wrong choice. Except for some basic things, it can additionally do some actions that are not in its nature if it goes through a training process. Animals can also learn something within narrow patterns. But in the end they behave as they are born to behave.

We humans do not have the mastery of some of the basic behaviors of animals, there are many things we are not as skilled at as animals. Nevertheless, so-called animals are in a struggle with the environment and living conditions to eat, drink and survive.

For example, in the mornings, you see birds early in the morning in a rush to find food. There is probably no bird that is lazy or whines. Other animal species are like birds. Maybe the cicada is a little different from other animals? After all, all animals, from birds to lions, are part of the endless struggle for life in nature. Sometimes they are prey, sometimes predators.

Human beings, unlike plants and animals, do not like the struggle because of their ability to think and use their minds. He likes comfort more. He is almost spring-loaded for comfort. He wants everything to be done for him. He wants to carry some of the selfish behaviors he learned in childhood throughout his life, resisting growth. It wants to get the most benefit with the least effort, and it loves to take shortcuts.

While some animals say hello to life and start walking and running as soon as they are born, it takes a long time for babies to reach a certain level. It takes them almost a year just to walk. They go to school for years, get an education, but still fall behind in many ways and some things just don't work out for most people.

I don't know if it is because I have witnessed this phenomenon as long as I have been alive! I have seen and experienced it as a sociology of my own life. Not all people are like this, but no matter how hardworking a person is, they still fall into the comfort trap in some cases. They may be reluctant to relearn for continuity. Therefore, if continuous struggle in the journey called life should be one of the most important skills that human beings should learn, human beings often forget this fact.

The proposition "Man is an irrational being, in other words, a being beyond reason!" is a fact that needs to be well understood. Because no matter how smart, hardworking or in what position a person is, he may sometimes find himself in wrong behaviors that even he himself cannot approve of. You know how a doctor, who is an authority and gives advice on how not to smoke cigarettes, can also become an irreparable smoker himself?

Let's get to the heart of the matter. Because of these characteristics inherent in human nature, one should learn to struggle at all levels and maintain this skill for the rest of one's life in order to take responsibility for one's own behavior, to realize one's goals and objectives, and to improve one's problem-solving abilities. This is because problems that diversify over time may not be solved with old knowledge and skills in ever-changing conditions. What we already know, what we have been taught or what we have learned from the experiences of our elders may sometimes be useless. Even today's laundry cannot be dried naturally with yesterday's sun. What worked yesterday does not work today or in the future.

In the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, "There are no hopeless situations, only hopeless people" advises us to hope, to renew hope, to carry the ability to struggle to solve problems further and further every day and to adapt it to the conditions of the day, regardless of the conditions we live in.

Life is the struggle itself. Those who do not struggle with life are only dead. Because a moving person is alive and struggling with this life. Keep on struggling. Because we are human beings, we know how to live like human beings.

Stay with respectful love.
