Finding the Right Path with Your Own Mind

A goal that will get you out of bed in the morning with excitement, a few close friends, looking at life with hope, living as simply as possible should be the main goal for us mortals.

When we look at the discourses of ourselves or the people around us, you hear the following words about life. "It is getting harder to live day by day, life is crushing us, living in these times requires a tightrope walk, our future is uncertain, we cannot see ahead, our future is not bright, we cannot get rid of our past, life is very cruel, etc."

When we look at these words, we think that things outside of us act as if in co-operation with each other to poison life for us! When our perceptions are like this, naturally, our attitude towards life starts to be negative, fearful, timid, weak and we become defeated against life. This is reflected in our personalities as low self-confidence, lack of self-esteem, low motivation, lack of faith and a timid attitude.

Since the existence of man, life continues in its own cycle according to the period lived. Neither more nor less. Although people and conditions change, in every period of life, people and life actually flow in a similar relationship. Some people wanted to understand life according to the spirit of the time, they lived in balance by adapting their truths and their own behaviours to the rhythm of nature and life. Others did not realise the cycle of life, fought in their own way and were defeated. Some tried to prevail but failed.

In other words, any person lives his/her own life according to his/her knowledge, skills, perceptions, intelligence level and abilities. Most of them look to the future with hope and cling to life with all their strength and strive to be the master of their lives. Others look to the future without hope and are writhing in anxiety and are captive to their fears. We now know that life, that is, nature has a cycle. Whoever fights against life, imposes his own rules and beliefs, loses. Others understand life, adapt to it and when they gain life skills, they dance with it and live happily in its natural rhythm in harmony.

The value of being natural, understanding oneself, realising one's self-worth and developing life skills never diminishes. For this reason, an active life, a purpose that will get you out of bed in the morning with excitement, a few close friends, looking at life with hope, living as simply as possible should be the main goal for us mortals! In addition, some basic life skills such as reading, thinking, having fun, laughing should be at the forefront of all education and these teachings should always be in life from kindergarten to university and even beyond.

There is no need to defeat life, and no one is successful in this anyway. Being in harmony with life and living by simplifying life is one of the important inputs of happiness. Life's own eco system will guide us.

At this point, he can say that it is important to adopt a minimalist philosophy of life, and that it will lead us to adopt a lifestyle that will save us from being captive to our endless ambitions in life. Thus, by getting rid of what we do not need, we will be able to focus only on what we really need. It advises us to consume less instead of a philosophy of life that constantly accumulates and says 'this must be mine' to everything we see. It directs us to consume what we have by sharing it with our environment. I believe that minimalism is a way to stop the ongoing greed around us. It is a way that every person whose ambitions lead them astray can find with their minds. Thus, every individual who learns to live a simple life will have the opportunity to improve the quality of life and live a more peaceful life by having only what is necessary in life.

Those with an open mind and heart will comprehend this wisdom and set an example for others. Just as Yunus, Mevlana, Pir Sultan, Karacaoğlan, Dede Korkut, Bilge Kagans, Dede Korkut and Bilge Kagans, who lived long before our era, are examples for us.

Stay with respectful love.
