The greatest condition for being free is to be able to live with dignity and fight for it. Freedom is the name of the most important field of struggle that people can die for. We all know the saying about freedom. "Freedom is not given, it is taken!" This saying also shows us a historical reality.

Freedom is a magic word, but it is also a dangerous word. Wars are being fought in our world today because of the content of this word. This word is not liked by those in power, but the masses of people consider it as important as the breath they breathe, and know that it is important. Of course, this is for people who think with their brains and act with their minds.

The greatest condition for being free is to be able to live with dignity and fight for it. Freedom is the most important field of struggle that people can die for. We all know the saying about freedom. "Freedom is not given, it is taken!" This saying also shows us a historical reality. This is indeed the case. The first thing that comes to mind when we think of freedom is the freedom of the individual and society. If we do not live in a free society, we cannot talk about the freedom of the individual who is a member of that society. Also, being free and appreciating freedom are two different things, and this distinction should be known.

Everyone can define freedom in their own way; some may even make very broad, very philosophical explanations. But those who have rented out their minds and wills do not have a definition of freedom. Those who are servants and slaves to anyone or anything other than God cannot have an acceptable and valid definition of freedom. Let me give you some examples from the understanding of freedom in our world gone mad. Anyone living in Afghanistan can have a definition of freedom, but can the Taliban and its slaves and servants have a definition of freedom? The victims of a coup d'état may have an understanding of freedom, but those who carried out a coup d'état, attempted a coup d'état, and supported the coup plotters cannot have an understanding of freedom that is accepted by us. Everyone living in America has their own understanding of freedom, but American rulers who oppress other countries do not and cannot have any understanding of freedom. Every individual living in any country has their own definition of freedom, but dictators and those subject to them do not.

It cannot be said that anyone who blindly believes in any political party and sees everything it says and does as the "Absolute Truth" understands anything about freedom! Anyone who sees himself as the absolute right and others as the absolute wrong cannot be of any value in lecturing us about freedom. Anyone who belongs to an organization that commits violence and oppression cannot have any understanding of freedom. On the contrary, those who are persecuted by that organization have a rightful understanding of freedom. We can multiply what I have written as much as we want.

The demand for freedom does not necessarily have to be expressed. What is more important than being free is this: understanding freedom and being able to internalize it. It is enough to believe in freedom, to know that it is a necessary and absolute necessity and to strive for it.

And then there are those who are free but do not realize it! For example, the majority of those who are free do not appreciate it. Freedom is the most important unrecognized value. It is just like air. It is a simple fact that we, as Turkish society, do not know the phenomenon of freedom.

It is freedom to think like yourself. It is freedom to do what you believe in. It is freedom to go where you want, to come where you want, to stay where you want, to change your path when you want, to sit down and take a break when you want. It is freedom to say what you wish, listen to what you wish, watch what you wish, wait for what you wish, send what you wish, bring back what you wish. But while doing all these things, not interfering with the freedom of others is to reach the maturity to comprehend the spirit of freedom. Cursing, insulting, beating, killing, expelling, driving, humiliating, degrading, humiliating, persecuting, etc. are not freedom. Those who do these things and think that being able to do them is freedom, those who think they have such an understanding of freedom are not even aware of the tyrant spirit they carry within them.

It may be your freedom to say, "You will do as I say, what I say is right, you will dress as I say, you will eat as I say, you will travel as much as I allow you to", but for the other person it is, in the simplest terms, oppression, oppression, tyranny. This is the point we always confuse, the point we don't want to understand. We want freedom for ourselves, but we don't want the same for others. But freedom means opposing all oppression, pushing all oppressors aside with the back of your hand, being with all the righteous. Even if you are right alone, your path must be the path of truth and righteousness!

For a moment, please ask yourself this question: "How free am I really?"

Stay with respectful love.
