Energy, Water, Food and Weapons: The Silent Construction of Power, Where the Rules Are Written
The example of Venezuela showed that oil alone is not power. If you don't have the weapons to protect it, the industry to process it, the state intelligence to turn it into bargaining power, and the diplomatic skills, someone else will simply turn off the tap.
The continuity of the US-Israel axis, lessons to be learned from Venezuela and Turkey's state mind... How interconnected they all are, aren't they?
World politics no longer shouts loudly; it establishes a silence that grows tighter every day. In this silence, power is built not overnight, but day by day. On bank screens, in energy contracts, in defence supply chains, in data centres...
In today's world, wars do not start on the front lines.
First, the tap is turned off, then the granary is emptied, and finally, weapons speak.
Energy, water and food are now a single national security dossier.
The example of Venezuela showed that oil alone is not power. If you don't have the weapons to protect it, the industry to process it, the state intelligence to turn it into bargaining power, and the diplomatic skills, someone else will simply turn off the tap.
Why doesn't the world want to take on the US and Israel?
Because taking on these two countries is not just a diplomatic risk. It also means accepting the long-term costs in the areas of energy, defence, finance and perception.
Turkey learned this truth through coups, embargoes and delayed parts. But it learned its lesson. Despite all the difficulties and obstacles, it established its own defence industry. To overcome its dependence on foreign energy, it focused on drilling and intensified its exploration efforts. It has brought food back into the conversation. Azerbaijan demonstrated in Karabakh what unity of strength, trust in Turkey, and integration mean. In Cyprus, it reminded us that power is only useful when it is demonstrated with determination, and that words alone have no value.
The situation Africa finds itself in today is clear: if you have resources but no power, someone else sets the rules of the game.
Agriculture is no longer just on the land, but in the clouds. Food security cannot be guaranteed without considering data, water management, logistics and energy together, without establishing this chain. This is where weapons and defence capabilities come into play, as they are the insurance for this chain.
In Turkish tradition, power is for justice, but justice can only be protected by power.
In today's dynamic and volatile world, the outcome is clear: All factors related to energy, water, food, and defence must be shaped around a single strategy.
Those who seek independence must understand that this is achieved not through rhetoric, but through production.
