He is a bureaucrat, academic and civil society volunteer. He completed his undergraduate/master's degree in Political Science and Public Administration at Mekteb-i Mülkiye and his doctorate at TODAIE. He became an associate professor in 2018. He has conducted research and studies at institutions such as the University of West of England, Passau University, Asser Institute, Northern Illinois University, National Security Academy and Harvard University. He served as the deputy district governor in Asarcık and Ayvacık, and the district governor of Pamukkale, Çamoluk, Keban and Kırkağaç. He served as Chief Civil Inspector, Prime Ministry Human Rights Refugee and Migrants Head. He served as EU Representation (Chapters 23 and 24), OSCE election observer (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia), and provided senior management training at NATO-TIKA (Afghanistan). He is the founding chairman and elected Chairman of the "Western Black Sea Equal Opportunity Association". He runs programs on various TV channels, and besides his books, he has articles published in various magazines.
