He received his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Naval Academy in 1992. He worked as a software engineer and logistics manager as well as an inspector in the Naval Forces Command throughout his service years until 2019. Between 2013-2015, he served as Group Supervisor and Instructor of Business Management at the Naval Petty Officer Vocational High School. In 2019, he retired voluntarily while working as a lecturer at MSU Land War College Business Administration Department.
He worked as a lecturer (strategy, information management, technology management, material management, finance) for 4 years, Computer Engineering (coder, designer, analyst, team leader, customer representative) for 9 years, Business Management (especially material and team/project management) for 27 years, Modeling and statistics (SPSS, AMOS, Andrev Hayes Macros) for 20 years and Auditing (Analytical thinking and writing, deep investigation) for 3 years.
Between November 4, 1996 and October 10, 1997, he completed his Computer Engineering differential studies at METU. He completed his master's degree in Business Management and Organization at Kocaeli University Institute of Social Sciences between 1995-1997. In 2019, he received his PhD in International Trade and Finance from Yalova University Institute of Social Sciences.
He has many published scientific articles under the titles of strategy, defense planning, defense industry, business and marketing.
Dr. Kağan AKTÜRK, who is currently continuing his academic studies, continues to provide strategic consultancy services to the senior management of various companies in the defense industry.
